This set of guided notes with biology doodles can be little anchor charts for your student to keep in their notebook! Using these pages, students can color, doodle, and make connections within the material as they takes notes in class.
These pages help students learn the basics behind bacterial cell anatomy, types of bacteria, and the human microbiome!
This doodle diagram set is part of a money-saving growing bundle you can find by clicking here.
This topic is usually introduced in the cells and organelles unit of biology class.
There are three student pages:
1. Bacterial Cell Anatomy: I cover the basics of what bacterial cells are made of. I find learning some of the bacterial cell structures (cell membrane, ribosome) really helps students see the basic parts of the cell before I add in all the eukaryotic organelles which make it more complicated.
2. Bacteria Identification: In this page, students will see different shapes of bacteria, learn about Gram staining, and other methods scientists use to identify bacteria in the lab.
3. Human Microbiome: This page is a terrific way to connect bacteria to student lives.
Google compatible version added!
